The votes are in and final, and here we announce the Players of the Week and Rookies of the Week for Week 3!

East POTW – Kevin Durant

So wings and the 3 ball are dead…but no one told KD. He averaged 34.3 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.5 blocks, on 56% shooting, 57% from deep (17/30) and 86% from the line. Sure he’s a guard locked in a big mans body, and has a silky smooth J, but that’s beside the point. He’s Player of the Week and he is Boston.

West POTW – Hassan Whiteside

But isn’t Alex Len in the West? Doesn’t matter, Hassan is out Lenning Len. 35.3 points, 15.3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2.3 steals and 1 block on 65% shooting…but he was a putrid 0% from deep...haha What more could you want from your franchise cornerstone? Ball. Ing. Everyone take a walk on the white side.

West ROTW – Frank Ntilikina

Maybe it’s time for Frank to start? Oh ok! 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 9.6 assists, 1.6 steals from the rookie in his first starting week and he looked every bit the part of the future starting PG the Grizz envisioned when he slid to them in the draft. With Exum down, he’ll get good run all year long. Don’t sleep!

East ROTW – Lauri Markkanen

He had his worst week of the season, but still pipped the rest with 11.5 points, 7 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1 steal on 49% shooting. He also turned in a terrible -8.3 +/- but was a near unanimous choice despite Mitchell’s strong week. 2 Noms, 2 wins, Lauri flying high with the flying high Magic.
