Week 19 Injury Watch
TEAM | INJURIES |
---|---|
Josh McRoberts (Foot), Justise Winslow (Shoulder), Winslow is a guy the Hawks don't want to see on here. After a frustrating season for Frahm things are looking up for the future as they try to put some pieces together to have a much bigger season next year. |
Eric Bledsoe (Knee), Losing Bledsoe for the season buts a big dent in the Nets chances come playoff time. We still like then to play the spoiler as they boast one of the deepest teams in the league. |
Kyle Lowry (Wrist), Kevin Durant (Knee), Shelvin Mack (Ankle), Tyreke Evans (Rest), The most devastating injury list in the league and Jmac let's you know it. The Celtic keep fighting and if their guys can get back early in the playoffs no one is going to want to face them. |
Dejounte Murray (Groin), With Porzingis back the Hornets are almost at full health which is a big help as they try to fight back and take that 8 seed out of Darko grip. |
Dragan Bender (Ankle), Chris McCullough (CD), Bruno Caboclo (CD), Damian Jones (CD), Ronnie Price (Leg), Long list of injuries for the bulls this week. However, no major players that should affect their standing in the playoff race. Look for the bulls to Clinch in the early part of the week. |
Jarell Martin (CD), Luis Scola (Waived in NBA), Serge Ibaka (Suspension), Missing Ibaka for the week, put a dent in the Cavs chances of taking that number one seed. Seems the ship may have sailed on scola returning this season which is disappointing for the cavs. |
Jerryd Bayless (Wrist), Henry Ellenson (CD), Kay Felder (D-League), Joe Harris (Concussion), With the towel thrown in the mavs are another team that hold their own pick and will be looking to rack up the losses. Smokey would love to have Ellenson and Felder available to see what they've got. |
James Young (Tailbone), Darren Collison (Rest), Resting Collision puts a dent in the Nuggets 2nd unit. They are chasing the Wolves in the hopes of having home court in the 1st round but will need a massive run to make it happen. |
Ben Simmons (Foot), Diamond Stone (Knee), Deyonta Davis (D-League), Sheldon McClellan (CD), Davis has been good for the pistons and missing him is disappointing but yet again the name laddas wants to see off this list will be here for some time. |
Luol Deng (CD), With Deng shut down being the only injury the Warriors should find them self locking in their playoff spot shortly. |
Dion Waiters (Ankle), Houstons season has been a roller coaster but it seems the GM has finally figured it out as they play of late as been much better. only missing Waiters look for the Rockets to play the spoiler in the last 2 weeks. |
Georges Niang (D-League), Sheed laments every win and a fully healthy team may give him some unwanted stress as the Pacers are yet another team looking for losses. |
One of the two fully healthy teams in the league. Although Andrew probably doesn't want to be. At this point the clippers I just looking for an increase in losses. | |
Troy Williams (D-League), Michael Beasley (Knee), Josh Huestis (D-League), Dwyane Wade (Elbow), What would Greenmig give for a healthy Dwyane Wade at this point? A lot we guess. With Wade out and the Lakers spot secured it's time for some Greenmig tricks to prepare for a 1st round match up against the Thunder. |
Festus Ezeli (Knee), Chris Bosh (Blood Clots), Darrell Arthur (Knee), Anthony Tolliver (Rest), Michael Gbinije (Ankle), The Grizzlies are another team that has been ravaged by injury this season. A few long term injuries on here but the fact that they hold their own pic the more on the list the merrier. |
Rudy Gay (Achilles), Timofey Mozgov (CD), The Heat don't have a lot to play for but being almost fully healthy gives new GM Breece a chance to tinker over the next couple of weeks and see if they can cause an upset or 2 |
Wade Baldwin IV (D-League), Zach LaVine (Knee), Milwaukee are fully healthy except for Lavine who has been missing half the season. This is there a chance to take the number one spot from the Sixers. |
Jabari Parker (Knee), Nemanja Bjelica (Foot), Tyson Chandler (Personal), Avery Bradley (Illness), Glenn Robinson III (Calf), T.J. Warren (Foot), One of the more banged up teams. This week, it's lucky the wolves sit in a bit of a no man's land as the 4 seed. Too far behind okc and far enough ahead of Denver that they should be safe to hold on to number 4. |
Chinanu Onuaku (Cd), A.J. Hammons (D-League), Chandler Parsons (Knee), Brandon Knight (Back), Kent Bazemore (Knee), Jahlil Okafor (Knee), When you're trying to make a push for a playoff spot the last thing you want to see is half half of your team on the injured list. This is the conundrum the pelicans faced this week, will this be the end of thieir season? |
Lance Stephenson (Ankle), Paul Millsap (Knee), The East's early pace setter has cooled a bit as they fight for seeding. Not having Millaa available hurts their ability to make up lost ground but no matter their final seed a lot of teams will want to avoid them in the playoffs. |
Oklahoma is stacked. For you healthy and making a push for the number two seed. Still three Games behind the kings with no injuries they may get there. | |
Malachi Richardson (Hamstring), Jordan McRae (Waived in NBA), Tim Quarterman (D-League), Ed Davis (Shoulder), Kyle Singler (CD), Boogie time in Orlando as Cousins returns. Javis MVP will come back and put up his numbers but we feel like the last season trade really hurt his stock for the big award. |
Isaiah Taylor (D-League), Derrick Favors (Knee), Since trading Aldridge the Sixers have not been able to find consistency at the power forward spot. Favours out again really hurts their chances to push for the number one overall |
Anthony Brown (Waived in NBA), Omer Asik (Illness), Joakim Noah (Knee), Nick Young (Flu), Noah was out with a knee and now a suspension as well. Pennywise was on a bridge for a while but at this point we think he may have accepted his fare. Yet another season where injuries hours the Suns. Where are those Phoenix NBA doctors when you need them? |
Brice Johnson (Back), Ramon Sessions (Knee), Lance Thomas (Hip), Some minor injuries for the Blazers but all in all their season can be looked at as somewhat of a success. They have managed to get some picks and Jaylen Brown looks like he will be the rookie of the year. |
Joel Embiid (Knee), Andrew Bogut (CD), No change for the Spurs as they try to hang onto the number one seed, just there two centres out |
Jared Sullinger (Waived in NBA), Carmelo Anthony (Knee), Anthony is one of the biggest outs in the lead. The Kings are scrounging to hold on to that number two seed with Oklahoma really pushing. With any luck it's only a one week injury. |
John Henson (Thumb), Only one guy out for another team that is hoping for a much better future than present. Maybe in the offseason Dunn will be taught not to shoot so much. |
Pierre Jackson (Waived in NBA), Jordan Mickey (CD), Sean Kilpatrick (Hamstring), Derrick Rose (Foot), Rose is not the Rose of old and we expect the Jazz to be able to hold on to that 8 seed. But missing him just makes that West playoff race a little more intriguing. |
Adreian Payne (Illness), Cristiano Felicio (Back), Jeff Green (Back), Despite being a much maligned figure, the loss of Jeff Green really hurts the Wizards 2nd unit. They have a small buffer for the 8th seed but with the 2 Charlotte games looming others will need to step up. |
