Week 10 Injury Watch

TEAM INJURIES
Atlanta Hawks T.J. Warren (Foot), Spencer Dinwiddie (Knee), Gary Harris (Thigh), Jalen Lecque (Waived in NBA), Abdel Nader (Knee), Danuel House (Personal), Davis Bertans (Calf)

Warren has been declared out for the season, Dinwiddie likely is too. Lecque was recently waived, then Bertans and Nader joined the IR over the past two weeks. Even with the injuries Atlanta is still sitting at the 5 seed in the East.
Brooklyn Nets Jahlil Okafor (Knee), Glenn Robinson III (Waived in NBA), Stephen Curry (Lower Body)

Curry is a big loss for the Nets and his return is unknown. Even with this injury the biggest news is Levert is playing again after having cancer surgery on his kidney in January. Nnaji and Luwawu-Cabarrot are back now too.
Boston Celtics George Hill (Thumb)

James Ennis has exited the IR, and George Hill is the only guy left on IR. He is valuable to this team and been out for a while, making Boston fall to the 10th seed.
Charlotte Hornets David Nwaba (Wrist), Joel Embiid (Knee), Jeff Teague (Waived in NBA), Josh Okogie (Illness)

Kristaps has exited the IR, but in steps Embiid. The Hornets are missing some depth with Teague, Okogie, and Nwaba, but the main loss is one of the top players in the league in Embiid.
Chicago Bulls DAngelo Russell (Leg), Taurean Prince (Shoulder)

Russell is the big loss here and he should be back somewhat soon. Donta Hall left the IR after being cut and Tyler Cook replaced him.
Cleveland Cavaliers Jay Scrubb (Foot), Kris Dunn (Ankle), Zach Collins (Ankle), Jaren Jackson Jnr (Knee), Paul Watson (Illness), Collin Sexton (Hamstring)

Sexton has now joined the IR squad, and Paul Watson joins the team and also the IR. JJJ, Dunn, Scrubb, and Collins have not been available all year.
Dallas Mavericks Marvin Bagley III (Hand), Dennis Smith (Back), Lonnie Walker (Wrist)

Dallas will really miss Bagley III and Walker, being big contributors all year. They are still the 3rd seed in the West though.
Denver Nuggets Jonathan Isaac (Knee), Udoka Azubuike (Ankle), Darius Bazley (Shoulder), Tristan Thompson (Illness), Greg Whittington (Knee), KZ Okpala (Illness)

Thompson, Whittington, and Okpala join the others this week. Denver has surprisingly joined the back end of the playoff race winning 6 of their last 10. This happened even with the injuries too.
Detroit Pistons Marcus Morris (Calf)

Klay Thompson and Cole Anthony are finally off of the IR in Detroit with the recent trades, but Morris is the lone wolf on IR now.
Golden State Warriors Cole Anthony (Shoulder)

Bam is back! Anthony was recently acquired where Clarkson was traded away, and is still injured hopefully he will come back soon.
Houston Rockets JJ Redick (Heel), Tim Frazier (Waived in NBA)

Redick has been good for the Rockets this season, and the IR remains the same as two weeks ago.
Indiana Pacers P.J. Tucker (Not with team), Serge Ibaka (Back), Luka Doncic (Back)

McCollum is finally back, and Luka is out yet again. All of these guys should be back very soon.
LA Clippers Rodions Kurucs (Oblique), Jahmius Ramsey (Hamstring), Mfiondu Kabengele (Waived in NBA)

All of the injuries are minor and the Clippers currently have all of their core healthy.
LA Lakers Jabari Parker (Waived in NBA)

Wood and Wiseman are both healthy, best news for LAL all season.
Memphis Grizzlies Austin Rivers (Personal), Monte Morris (Quad), Reggie Bullock (Ankle), Nerlens Noel (Shoulder)

Memphis has catapulted into the 4th seed, but this week will be a true test with the injuries hurting depth. Memphis still has KAT, Hield, Smart and Milton. The guard depth even with these injuries is not the problem.
Miami Heat Malik Beasley (Suspended), Bruno Caboclo (Waived in NBA)

Beasley is still suspended and the recently acquired Caboclo has not played a game in the NLL all season, and is not with the team.
Milwaukee Bucks Killian Hayes (Hip), Romeo Langford (Wrist), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (Foot)

Jusuf Nurkic is finally back after a long absence, but Shai goes down with an injury that could keep him out for a while.
Minnesota Timberwolves Avery Bradley (Illness), Cam Reddish (Achilles), Tyrell Terry (Illness), Kevin Love (Calf)

Kevin Love has entered once again. Everybody else was here before, and the Timberwolves will be fine as long as these injuries do not affect them long-term.
New Orleans Pelicans Marquese Chriss (Leg), Klay Thompson (Knee), Eric Gordon (Knee), Keita Bates-Diop (Hamstring)

Chriss and Thompson are both recently acquired and are out for the season. Gordon is still there from last time and two-way Diop is now hurt.
New York Knicks Andre Drummond (Personal), Lonzo Ball (Hip), Kevin Porter Jr. (Quad), Goran Dragic (Back)

The Knicks are short-handed this week. Drummond should be back soon after and long absence and the other injuries do not seem to be long-term ones.
Oklahoma City Thunder Josh Hall (), Damian Jones (Waived in NBA), Lebron James (Ankle), Kawhi Leonard (Foot), Hassan Whiteside (Knee)

Well OKC is without their two superstars this week, Lebron will be out for a while, while Kawhi should be back next week. Whiteside and Jones will likely not be available until new teams are found.
Orlando Magic Thomas Bryant (Knee), Patrick Beverley (Knee), Gorgui Dieng (Waived in NBA)

Bryant stays on the IR, Griffin is back, but Beverley is out. Dieng is currently out but he will likely get another contract.
Philadelphia 76ers Derrick Rose (Illness), Damian Lillard (Rest)

Dame really had to rest, at least Harden didn't rest too. Looks like Tyrese Maxey will be getting a lot of PT this week.
Phoenix Suns Kevin Durant (Illness), DeMarcus Cousins (Waived in NBA)

Durant has been out for a long time, and has still only played 3 games on the season, and Cousins could possibly get a contract sometime soon after the buyout market is clear.
Portland Trail Blazers Anzejs Pasecniks (Waived in NBA), Matthew Dellavedova (Concussion), DeÁndre Hunter (Knee), Bobby Portis (Illness)

Hunter should be back soon, it is unknown about Delly. Portis is only out because of protocols.
San Antonio Spurs Anthony Davis (Calf), Terrence Ross (Knee), LaMelo Ball (Wrist)

VanVleet has been activated since last Injury Watch, but the rising star Lamelo Ball has now joined Anthony Davis and Terrence Ross on the sideline.
Sacramento Kings Ishmael Smith (Quad), Shaquille Harrison (Waived in NBA)

The centerpiece of the rebuild in Cam Johnson is back healthy, while Ish Smith remains on the IR. Harrison was acquired off of the waivers, and the Kings hope he finds a home in the NBA.
Toronto Raptors Jordan Bell (Waived in NBA), LaMarcus Aldridge (Illness), Semi Ojeleye (Hip)

Mitchell Robinson is back! He may be for an extended period of time after this week though. LMA should be back soon, possibly even next week.
Utah Jazz Markelle Fultz (Knee), Udonis Haslem (Illness), DeAndre Bembry (Illness)

Siakam returns, Haslem and Bembry are out. The team won't get much more healthy than this.
Washington Wizards Willie Cauley-Stein (Illness), Kyrie Irving (Personal), Landry Shamet (Ankle)

Kyrie is a big blow since the team is on the edge of the playoffs. Cauley-Stein and Shamet are big losses too, they have both been big parts of the teams' success.
