Cleveland have 2 important players, both starters in 2015-16 who have finished their rookie scale contracts and move onto some serious money.

Andre Drummond

Is a beast on the board, hugely athletic and is a quality defender. The last 3 season, Drummond has played all 82 games, Averaged 12+ rebounds, 10 points and a block a game. His numbers have been pretty stagnant, while he continue to develop. Andre has one major limitation in his game, when shooting a free throw, he is happy if it even hits the backboard. It is something he will have to continue to work on, Cavs will look to bring in another shooting coach and hopefully turn this part of his game into an asset. A max offer would have to be on the cards for this young gun that could easily become a superstar.

Terrence Ross

Terrence made his way into the starting line-up last year, is a sharp shooter with incredible range, speed and continues to work on his defence. He just needs to continue to work on his ball handling which limits his ability to drive and make opportunities for his team mates. The step up from reserve to starter didnâ€™t see his numbers increase to much as he moved from the go too player in the second unit to being only an option in the Starters. His potential seems limitless but his mentality this always questioned. Terrence is well aware of weaknesses and each offseason continues to improve in each facet of his game.

We have submitted a qualifying offer to both players, we see them as a huge part of our future. We have offered Andre the maximum we can, and have the advantage of a longer deal for his security. Terrence we are looking around the $10 million mark per year, for a 4 year deal, we just hope he turns into the gun we know he can.
