Paul George Demands a Trade...

On August 15th, GM Elijah Conant had stated that one of the players in the organization had come up to him personally, Conant has asked all press back to the facility today for a presser.

"With the last press conference, I had made it a point to state one of our top players has asked for a trade. It is with a sad regard, I have to confirm the rumors that Paul George has demanded a trade from the Boston Celtics."

George during the 20-21 season put up 29.7 PPG, 4.6 RPG, and 4.3 APG This request comes right after the Celtics only making the Play-In Tournament and being defeated by the New York Knicks, George said this.

"After only making the Play-In this year, I am definitely going to spend some time thinking about my career this offseason and what need to be taken care of on my side. We'll be ready."

GM Conant and George are extensively working behind the scenes to get this matter taken care of and putting him on a team that will benefit both parties as much as possible. Conant also noted about George's leadership with the team.

"I appreciate Paul coming into our organization and immediately picking up the reigns for being a key leader for the team, with the help of Westbrook and Valanciunas, [George] was able to leave everything on the court, and unfortunately it was not enough this season, and at this time, we do believe that is will be best to part ways.

The Boston Celtics now have the clock started on the teams re-tooling and may have to work quick if they want to stay in contention next season.
