Wall down. Nuggets not.

As has been covered in the news feed, John Wall is down. He expects to be out 6-8 weeks while having his knee cleaned out as he has been fighting through discomfort all season long. Wall has been joined by Andre Roberson who also has knee issues.

The two starters join Nerlens Noel (hot dog related injury), and Jonathan Isaac (ankle) who are both yet to play since being brought over in a Otto Porter deal a few weeks ago. Both players look to be only a few weeks away, with the team looking at the week after all-star weekend to get them some minutes.

The team has rallied behind GM Rootsey, who looked to be on the outs with the team owners after having a few slip ups this season with trades and hasn't been able to get it together on the court to warrant the constant player churn.

Rootsey looks to promote Dwyane Wade into the starting point guard position, but is now investigating further wing depth after that change of position. Wade has been on the block for weeks, but Rootsey is hesitant to pull the plug on the season and looks to Wade to help carry the load while Wall sits. Rootsey also looks to send Enes Kanter to the bench, as his energy will lead the second unit and expectations are that he can still put up the same level of performance from the bench.

Rumour has it though that Roberson may not stay on the injury list for too long, at least with the Nuggets, with Rootsey never wanting to throw a season away, especially with a Western Conference which is still wide open. The Nuggets only sit 3 games out of the playoffs and have always planned that this season is all about just making the playoffs and then trying to out compete the competition. So where could Roberson go? He looks to stay in the West and bring in some wing depth, Pau Gasol may leave with him, after only playing 8 games for the Nuggets. If the deal goes through Pau and Andre are going to "Get Out Of Denver"
