The revolving door to Sacramento

The Kings have just completed their eleventh deal of the season bringing in veteran big in Taj Gibson and resurgent wing James Johnson while sending away a couple of rookies acquired in their previous deal, a future second and Tyson Chandler.... Surely they're done for the season?!? If anything the amount of resources spent and current trade restrictions will now force the clammy hand of the GM off the phones and onto a fidgety lap... Essentially meaning that what we see as the current Sacramento roster will be what they will be rolling with into the post season. The sanity of the Kings front office and logic behind this some what concerning behaviour has been questioned again and again by those around the league. If the Kings didn't keep winning games then surely the loyal fan base would've rioted in the streets crying mutiny weeks ago. Yet here we are...

It seems the direction the Kings have been headed has remained clouded and inconspicuous all season long, probably even to the man upstairs to an extent. It's known that GM Klemmelo is pretty fluid when it comes to shaking up his team whenever things just don't look right and perhaps this cavalier nature could be viewed as destructive and detrimental to their cause. The cause being winning an NLL championship. The Kings are within striking distance of the top seed in the west, a tall task prying that distinction from the giant hands of Anthony Davis and his Spurs. With question marks looming over what some people would say is a sure thing to win ROTY in Joel Embiid, who knows exactly how much that will level the playing field for the rest of the western contenders.

Gerald Green along with fan favourite Marcelo Huertas remain the sole "survivors" so to speak as the only men left not to be traded since opening tip off this season. We have no idea what that means and in no way think it was intentional... If donut boy Jared Sullinger can realise getting paid millions of dollars a year to play basketball means he can afford a decent nutritionist and a treadmill then the Kings will be laughing.

In other news league internal affairs will be investigating claims of coercion and dodgy player records with speculations of New Orleans head office knowing full well Sullingers dangerous history with sugary sweets.
