Jon Leuer

In our last article we introduced T.J. McConnell.

He came to the Warriors together with Jon Leuer in the trade that send Ian Clark and Wilson Chandler away to Phoenix.

Jon Leuer is a 27 year old power forward.

He could also play at the center position.

Leuer played his college ball for the Wisconsin Badgers.

In 2011 he was drafted 38th by the Atlanta Hawks.

2011 during the lockout he played in Germany for the Frankfurt Skyliners.

Then he played in the NLL for Atlanta, Portland, Atlanta for a 2nd time, New Orleans, Phoenix and now he is here in Golden State.

So Leuer traveled around the league a lot during his first 5 years.

He is on a 4 year contract, lets see how long he stays with us.

We expect him to get the starting power forward role.

Luol Deng will now come of the bench, he started the season well as ou starting power forward.

But in the last weeks he has become weaker and he donÂ´t seem like a good solution as a front court starter anymore.

So Leuer should be a much better fit here, power forward is his natural position.

With Joffrey Lauvergne out with an illness this week he will see the most time with Frank Kaminsky as his front court partner.

Last week was the first week without a W for our Warriors.

We hope they come back stronger this week even with the two new faces.

Quincy Pondexter underwent another arthroscopic surgery on his left knee...will he ever play a single game for our Warriors?

Jose Barea and Rodney Stuckey are both still out, but very close to return.

Lauvergne should be back next week, too.

This week we will see Leuer and McConnell in their debut for Golden State so...
