Another Rookie comes to town for New Orleans!

After some locker room rumblings about how Gm Gc6 was going to manage the ever growing list of guards, a trade was made with the Jail Blazers to sort out the differences. In what can only be described as a pleasant conversation with GM Toby, a deal with TJ Leaf for Furkan Korkmaz headlining it was swung.

Its no secret that the gm's around the league have little faith in Leaf, and maybe even some hate him. Which could be why he had a slide in the draft.
So Feeling rejected, TJ is about to give up. But during the off season, he meets Gm Gc6, The two quickly become friends, especially bonding over their mutual adoration of the progressive rock band Rush and slapping the bass.

Measuring at 6'10 Leaf has excellent size at the power forward position. But could benefit from some added strength which would help him in the rebounding, defense, and finishing departments. While Leaf lacks ideal strength and physicality on the interior, he moves fluidly for someone his size, and has the explosiveness and athleticism to run the floor and finish above the rim in space.

TJ can score in a variety of ways and has unique perimeter skills for a player his size. He is a decent ball handler who can grab the ball off the defensive glass and has the ability to attack out of face up situations with slight changes of pace and direction. He is more of a finesse finisher around the basket who relies on touch, footwork, and his ability to finish with both hands.Also one of the more important aspects of Leaf's game is his potential to stretch the floor

It seemed Leaf was destined to fade into mediocrity and endure comments about why he was even drafted at all. But all it takes is one fan, and hes found that fan in his new home at the Pelicans.
