Houston, we have a problem. At least we have a GM

TEAM INJURIES
Atlanta Hawks Justise Winslow (Wrist), Raymond Felton (Personal)

Winslow is still out, but he was already expected to miss another week and Dudley is holding down the fort as the starting small forward. Meanwhile third-stringer Felton will miss the week with undisclosed personal reasons. No big deal since he averages 7 minutes and Patty Mills is healthy.
Brooklyn Nets Khris Middleton (Hamstring), Dion Waiters (Groin)

Aminu is back providing the Nets with a more athletic and defensive front-court. Since we haven't actually seen him play yet, his impact remains to be seen. It looks like wiz is going 13 deep next week, even finding a couple of minutes for rookie LeVert to make his debut.
Boston Celtics Derrick Jones Jr. (D-League), Tyreke Evans (Knee)

Evans is still out, but Lee is back and so is Seraphin. With the Cs rolling lately they are unlikely to make major changes to the rotation. So Lee will likely see his usual 12-15 minutes while Seraphin will only see action of the bigs in front of him get into foul trouble or a game ends up being a blow-out.
Charlotte Hornets Christian Wood (D-League), Gary Harris (Foot), Nikola Pekovic (Achilles), Dirk Nowitzki (Achilles), Aaron Harrison (D-League), Dejounte Murray (CD)

News of Gary Harris imminent return were a bit premature. Dirk is still out as well and the young Hornets have paid the price with the recent close losses where a steadying hand might have led them to victory. The recently signed Pekovic is expected to miss the entire season and is just there as a salary filler in an attempt to make the minimum team salary with a team comprised of players on rookie deals (plus elder statesman Dirk).
Chicago Bulls Jose Calderon (Hamstring), Chris McCullough (CD)

Jose will miss some time with a hamstring injury, so the Bulls are lucky to get the other Curry back just in time to take over the backup point guard duties from the Spaniard. Rookie Jones is also back, but unlikely to make his debut next week, with the wings fully healthy.
Cleveland Cavaliers Rakeem Christmas (CD), James McAdoo (CD)

Boy, Lebron must be glad to have his buddy Parker back in the lineup. His replacement Jennings flat out sucked. Tony is known to take weeks off here and there, so BJ better get his act together if he wants to play with the LBJ for an extended period.
The two guys out are DNP-CD most of the time anyway, so this doesn't make a difference.
Dallas Mavericks Emmanuel Mudiay (Ankle), Jrue Holiday (Toe), Paul Zipser (D-League)

Mudiay has been one of two Mavs to start all three weeks so far. That streak ends next week. To make matters worth the other option Holiday will also be out. If Yogi was still around he would have defaulted into the starting point guard position. Probably a good thing he got waived. Now Dallas can turn to Lou Williams. But who can run the second unit when he takes a breather?
Denver Nuggets Derrick Favors (Knee), James Young (Illness), Kent Bazemore (Knee), Matt Barnes (Rest)

JJ is back, but now Bazemore and Barnes are taking the week off. The first has a legit reason, but no one believes Barnes really needs that rest as he was partying hard in NY this weekend and is now likely to be taken into custody for assault. What a jerk.
Detroit Pistons Brandan Wright (Ankle), Nerlens Noel (Knee), Ben Simmons (Foot), James Ennis (Calf), Jerryd Bayless (Wrist), Tarik Black (Ankle), Sheldon McClellan (D-League)

The IR in Detroit wont get any shorter this week. Noel may be back next week, but for now only Black and Ellensson are trading places. That is actually an upgrade as the rookie the teams second leading scorer right now.
Golden State Warriors Quincy Pondexter (Knee), Jose Barea (Calf), Stephen Zimmerman (D-League)

Demetrius Jackson will be active for week for. The other three guys stay put, which is bad news, since Marcus Smart is really struggling right now and JJ is sorely missed.
Houston Rockets Bryn Forbes (CD), Arinze Onuaku (CD), Dante Cunningham (Knee), Isaiah Thomas (Groin), Luke Babbitt (Hip), Gordon Hayward (Finger)

Bad timing here. Just after finally signing a new GM, both Thomas and Hayward go down and will miss some time. They have a tough week ahead and having to start Napier wont make for a happy debut for Vitticus.
Indiana Pacers Georges Niang (D-League)

Fully healthy the Pacers seem to be in tank mode early on. Maybe it will take an injury to wake these guys up. But so far this hasn't happened.
LA Clippers Festus Ezeli (Knee), DAngelo Russell (Knee), Alec Burks (Ankle), Rodney Hood (Hamstring)

The same four guys as last week are out for the Clippers, which is bad news, since they are now starting little man Tim Frazier instead of Russel and have Ryan Anderson play out of position at the two, where opposing small forwards are running circles around him. (Even LRMBM scored 16 points on him.)
LA Lakers George Hill (Toe)

Marv is back, which is excellent news since he is the Lakers' second leading scorer and glue guy. Now glitch-man Speights can go back to destroying opposing backup centers. Hill being out is a big loss as Brooks hasn't looked very good in his single start so far.
Memphis Grizzlies Jarnell Stokes (Waived in NBA), Chris Bosh (Blood Clots), Michael Gbinije (CD), Georgios Papagiannis (CD)

Papa was taking the league by storm these first three weeks. Now he will earn his first DNPs. Welcome to the league young fella. Can Adrian Payne average a double double in his place? He's the only other player even remotely qualified to play center.
Miami Heat Danuel House (CD), Anthony Brown (Waived in NBA), JR Smith (Knee), Kyle Wiltjer (D-League)

The bigs are all back now, but Noah seems to have lost his starting gig to Nene. The Smith injury hurts big time. With veteran Jefferson taking his place, next week will be Gay all day long.
Milwaukee Bucks Cameron Payne (Foot), Skal Labissiere (CD), DeMarre Carroll (Rest)

Didn't Carroll already rest last week? What does he need to rest from? From playing 19mpg for two weeks? He makes more than the four starters other than Russell combined and just sits around resting. Jeez. On second thought, he probably needs rest from these shopping trips.
Minnesota Timberwolves Jeremy Lin (Hamstring), Chinanu Onuaku (D-League), T.J. Warren (Head), James Johnson (Shoulder), R.J. Hunter (D-League)

PG is back, yay. And recent signee MWP is poised to replace Bradley in the starting five. But wait. Avery is even hurt. Interesting.
New Orleans Pelicans Jared Sullinger (Foot), Chandler Parsons (Knee), Nemanja Bjelica (Ankle), Jahlil Okafor (Illness)

Sullinger? Check. Parsons? Check. Okafor? Okafor? Oh shit. Looks like rookie Hammons is poised for major minutes. He was so shocked he promptly shrunk 2 feet from 7-2 to 7-0.
New York Knicks Maurice Ndour (CD)

Millsap is back. Phew. Ndour was so timid in his garbage time, that he has earned himself a permanent DNP-CD next week.
Oklahoma City Thunder Walter Tavares (Waived in NBA), Josh Richardson (Ankle)

Jokic is back, bumping the younger Hernangomez down the depth chart.
Orlando Magic Malachi Richardson (D-League), Michael Carter-Williams (Knee),
Philadelphia 76ers Shaun Livingston (Rest)

With SL resting, Lapo..., Lapri..., Laprovi..., Laprovittola will make his debut. Did i get it right? Almost? No idea how to type that i.
Phoenix Suns Miles is back and the Suns are fully healthy.
Portland Trail Blazers Brice Johnson (Back), Ian Mahinmi (Knee)

Same guys as last week. Mahinmi is their top-earner too. But he's far from being their top player.
San Antonio Spurs Delon Wright (Shoulder), Bruno Caboclo (Knee), Maurice Harkless (Ankle)

Jackson is back. How will take effect chemistry and AD's MVP quest? Meanwhile Harkless is out forcing a second change in the starting lineup.
Sacramento Kings Archie Goodwin (Waived in NBA), Reggie Bullock (Knee), Andrew Bogut (Rest), Mike Conley (Back)

Even without Conley and Bogut the Kings went 3-1. The schedule stays soft, so there is no need to rush Bogut back. Powell has it covered.
Toronto Raptors Tiago Splitter (Hamstring), Diamond Stone (CD), Etwaun Moore (Toe)

With Deron and Z-Bo back, the Raptors get their two leading scorers back into action. But they have another hard, hard week coming up. So it is doubtful this is were the season turns around for them.
Utah Jazz Jordan Mickey (CD), Channing Frye (Personal), Derrick Rose (Back)

Rose is the big name here. Dellavedova will have to step up in his absence. Frye only gets in during garbage time anyway these days.
Washington Wizards Nick Young (Toe), Vince Carter (Hip), Udonis Haslem (Personal)

Anderson is back, giving the Wizards a bit more size up front, but controversial signing Haslem wont be available right away.
