TEAM INJURIES
Atlanta Hawks Alexis Ajinca (Shoulder), Justise Winslow (Wrist),

Week 1 was a big success for Frahminator in his NLL return. Week 2 the Hawks regain Lucas Noguiera and do not lose anyone else to injury. Justice winslow is the guy the Haks would love to see back but sources say he could be back in week 3.
Brooklyn Nets Al-Farouq Aminu (Calf), Caris LeVert (Foot), Khris Middleton (Hamstring), Danilo Gallinari (Thigh),

Middleton is obviously the big name, losing Gallinari this week throws another spanner in the works for Wiz. Jeremy Lamb comes back and his is a constant NLL performer. Lamb will start this week.
Boston Celtics Derrick Jones Jr. (D-League), Tyreke Evans (Knee), Kevin Seraphin (Knee),

Darrel Arthur comes back this wek but the C's lose Seraphin. Neither guy will likely see many minutes as Jmac likes to keep his bench as short as possible. relying on 9 guys to take the minutes.
Charlotte Hornets Aaron Harrison (D-League), Christian Wood (D-League), Gary Harris (Foot), Willie Reed (Knee),

Dirk will suit up for his 8th NLL team and what is likely to be his last stop. More pressing for Digeze is getting starting SG Harris back, Rookies Ingram and Murray have both been more than adequate so far.
Chicago Bulls Damian Jones (Pectoral),

No S.Curry's on the list is the main thing for the Bulls. Jones remains out but the team gets Sefolosha back and he is likely to start.
Cleveland Cavaliers The Cavs remain without any injury concerns.
Dallas Mavericks Ivica Zubac (Ankle), Doug McDermott (Concussion), Paul Zipser (Back), Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (Ankle),

Lots of pieces missing for the Mavericks this week, Week 1 has been a shock to the system for such a consistent team. Doug's Concussion continues and Hollis-Jefferson joins the Injured list with an ankle injury but hopefully its only a weeks rest.
Denver Nuggets Derrick Favors (Knee),

Even more than packaging his assets for a better backup PG, Rootsey would LOVE to get Favors back. Once this team is full strength they should get rolling.
Detroit Pistons Brandan Wright (Ankle), Fred VanVleet (CD), Nerlens Noel (Knee), Ben Simmons (Foot), James Ennis (Calf),

Wright, Here, Noel, Here, Simmons, Here, Bayless.....Bayless..... Bayless.....

The Pistons get a PG Back, (2 actually) after the successful week 1 does Bayless even get to start?
Golden State Warriors Quincy Pondexter (Knee), Jose Barea (Calf), Demetrius Jackson (D-League),

Pondexter and Barea are going to be mentioned on here for a long time yet. Jackson isn't a massive loss. The all SF lineup was OK in Week 1 how long it lasts? no body knows.
Houston Rockets Bryn Forbes (CD), Arinze Onuaku (CD), Dante Cunningham (Knee),

Cunningham and Onuaku join Forbes on the injury list. No major losses and the team needs a GM more than they need these 3 guys. You know anyone?
Indiana Pacers Marshall Plumlee (D-League), Goran Dragic (Elbow),

Indiana is looking to sell if you are looking to buy. The Pacers had one of their worst starting weeks in memory as Sheed usually has his troops set to fire. Plumlee is still out. Dragic missing the week could spell more pain for the Pacers in week 2.
LA Clippers Festus Ezeli (Knee), DAngelo Russell (Knee), Alec Burks (Ankle),

The Burks injury is a kick in the guys for the Clippers. Then the Russell injury made Andrew forget all about Burks and hope that his star is going to be be back soon. PRP injections aren't the end of the world but expect to see Russell names here for the next few weeks.
LA Lakers George Hill and Brandon Rush return in week 2, leaving the Lakers without any injuries
Memphis Grizzlies Jarnell Stokes (Waived in NBA), Mike Scott (Knee), Chris Bosh (Blood Clots),

Will Chris Bosh ever see an NLL court again? We hope so, but it wont be any time soon it seems. They get Daniels back, so that is something. Stokes is probably another candidate to be cut asap, so that Memphis can bring in someone that can at least get on the court.
Miami Heat Danuel House (CD), Kyle Wiltjer (D-League),

The Heat have the strongest list of returning guys for week 2 (and don't they need it). Rondo Chandler and Nene all return. This all adds up tot he fact that the heat shouldnt be 0 and by the end of week 2.
Milwaukee Bucks Cameron Payne (Foot),

Same old Same old (or is it young) for the Bucks, only Payne is out, Skal is active this week but isn't likely to crack the rotation for massive minutes we wouldn't think.
Minnesota Timberwolves Jeremy Lin (Hamstring), Chinanu Onuaku (D-League), Paul George (Ankle),

A new GM seems to have bought new life to Minnesota, a 4-0 week 1 would you believe it? Paul George's injured ankle isn't a long term concern however any time you lose your best player you cant be happy about it. Jeremy Lin remains out for a period but the wolves have enough fire power to keep on chugging along.
New Orleans Pelicans Jared Sullinger (Foot), Chandler Parsons (Knee), T.J. Warren (Head),

Chandler Parsons. Mr.200 GM points is out again. When will he get healthy? we are sure the Pelicans would be happy if he would. Warren hitting the IL as well isn't a great result for the week
New York Knicks Once again no injuries to worry about for the Knicks, will the back court work load eventually cause some issues?
Oklahoma City Thunder Walter Tavares (Waived in NBA), Juan Hernangomez (Ankle),

How do i keep missing OKC. Sorry Ben, Hernangomez is added to the injury list this week, no big deal for everybody's favourite to unseat the Lakers in the west.
Orlando Magic Malachi Richardson (D-League), Michael Carter-Williams (Knee),

Yet another team that is seemingly better off after the ownership change. Lucky for Javi, Laddas left the team in a pretty good place before he bolted for Simmons-town. MCW would look really nice on the court right now, saving the Magic from having to play Snell as their backup PG.
Philadelphia 76ers Nicolás Laprovíttola (Dental),

The deepest team in the league had no injuries in week 1, this week just one to what is likely their 15th best player Laprovíttola. Sitting in the dentist chair was great experience for what his role will be with this team this season.
Phoenix Suns CJ Miles (Knee),

Al Horford is healthy for week 2 to mark his return to Phoenix, it has been 6 years and 6 different jerseys since he last donned the Suns purple.FA signing Wesley Johnson also gets back this week while CJ Miles has a rest with a sore Knee.
Portland Trail Blazers Brice Johnson (Back), Lance Thomas (Foot), Ian Mahinmi (Knee), Wayne Ellington (Quad),

Things went as expected in Portland for week 1. In week 2 they have the same injury list, while not a stellar list, these guys could help the team back to being relevant at the least. On a side note, Tyler Johnson were are you?
San Antonio Spurs Reggie Jackson (Knee), Delon Wright (Shoulder), Bruno Caboclo (D-League), Will Barton (Ankle), Stanley Johnson (Suspended), Joel Embiid (Rest),

Lots of key injuries here, can the Spurs keep up their hot start?
Sacramento Kings Devin Harris (Toe), Dewayne Dedmon (Knee), Archie Goodwin (Waived in NBA), Reggie Bullock (Knee),

Archie Goodwin was back, then he wasn't again, look for the Kings to cut him as soon as they can to bring in someone that can actually help. Dedmon and Harris will have a buddy on the sidelines as Reggie Bullock looks set to miss extended time with a knee injury.
Toronto Raptors Tiago Splitter (Hamstring), Diamond Stone (CD), Zach Randolph (Personal),

A rough start to his tenure in Canada for Carl. Jae Crowder and Deron Williams will return to solidify the starting lineup, losing Randolph for the week offsets that somewhat and Splitter has been given a 6 week vacation with a hamstring injury.
Utah Jazz Jordan Mickey (CD), Channing Frye (Personal), Julius Randle (Hip),

From no injuries last week to these 3 guys this week. Randle is the big name here and the Jazz need to find someone to take up the slack on the boards. The team was better with Randle on the bench in week 1 maybe that's an omen for a big week 2.
Washington Wizards Anderson Varejao (CD), Jodie Meeks (Foot), John Lucas (CD), Nick Young (Toe),

Varejao and Meeks miss their 2nd straight week. Joining them is John Lucas and Nick Young. Nick Young's 10 points per off the bench will be sorely missed as Darko hopes to keep this lineup heading in the right direction for as long as possible.
