A lot of new faces

Wow...MaiLo did a lot of trades this season.
Normally we don´t see that much player movement, but this season is trade season.

So we only have 3 remaining players with Harrison Barnes, Joffey Lauvergne and T.J. McConnell.
All other players joined the Warriors this season, most of them via trade.

After the latest trades we have a whole new backcourt.
Instead of MArcus Smart and Ian Clark/Nicolas Batum we now have Jeff Teague and Eric Gordon.
Two strong veteran guards in their prime years.
Maybe this is not the exact timeline of the team, but it´s a much better backcourt (on paper).

On small forward we have Iguodala now. Barnes will now start the most games as a power forward, he is much stronger on that position.
Joffrey Lauvergne is the feel good story of this season so far. After Kaminsky left the team he became the starting center.
And he is playing very strong in that position, he is one if the best Warriors players at the moment.

The second unit is led by McConnell, this is the only constant part here.
He is now joined by Josh Hart/ Denzel Valentine at the shooting guard position.
Pat Connaughton / Justice Winslow at small forward.
Connaugthon was drafted by the Warriors 2015, traded away and traded back :) .
Danial Theis is the backup power forward. And Jordan Bell the backup center.

The last weeks Mailo grabbed some Waivers/Free agents.
So Bruno Caboclo, Alfonzo McKinnie and Chris McCullough just joined the team.
All of them are forwards, young, cheap, talented guys ... but their future is a little unclear at the moment.
But MaiLo decided to give all them a chance to prove here, maybe at least of them will become a rotation guy in the next years.

We want to take the chance to say goodbye to all of the guys that left the team this season... we wish you the best for the future!
Marcus Smart, Nicolas Batum, Al-Farouq Aminu, Lucas Nogueira ,Paul Zipser, Jon Leuer, Vince Carter, Shabazz Muhammad, Frank Kaminsky and last but not least Dario Saric.
Just a very, very short time here: DeMarre Carroll and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot.
What a list Warriors fans, let´s hope this all will lead us in the right direction.
There is only one possible direction to move, because downwards isn´t really possible at the moment.

Stay tuned and enjoy the All-Star Break Warriors fans!
