Notes from a GM

To say this season to date has been challenging would be a complete understatement in fact it has brought me to the brink of breaking point on whether I actually have the desire to continue on

The only reason to continue being that it was always and remains my #1 ambition to bring LAC back to relevance not seen since the days of LeBron James.

I refuse be the next guy being trashed for leaving another NLL team in a complete shamble’s for someone else to resurrect from the ashes.

Another miss-conception would be the false thought that I have any ill feelings towards GM’s using engine friendly players (politically correct term?) I have nothing but respect for the entire league for making the NLL what it is! Without 29 other GM’s putting in their effort week in week out, we would not have such a great place.

I implore the GM’s that do read this you must take my venting with a grain of salt (Pun not intended) not toward individuals as I have never intended and will never intend to throw shade at or put down another GM if I have a problem I will let you know privately

But my venting is generally pointed directly towards my own performance and inability as a GM to get results in a system that just won’t comply with the vision I had

Who knows maybe the next engine will be much more Clipper friendly...

Good News Story

The good news story and all I have at this point to hang my hat on is and while it means quite literally nothing to the success of an NLL basketball team and nor should it we would still like to take some time to congratulate Victor Oladipo and his team mates Devin Booker, Dennis Smith Jr, Aaron Gordon and John Collins on his achieving all-star appearances in a numerous events as a part of the 2018 NLL feeder league competition all-star weekend. It is not an easy feat to earn this accolade with the level of competition around these days and one day we hope that they can become all-star level players in the NLL
