If I had Kawhi what would I want?

Sad to say, I wasn't asked my opinion, so I thought I would post it in a news article. My first thought would be, I need a good kick in the arse. Kawhi is rated in the top 5 players in the competition, most players have a season ruined by injury, he is only young and on a crazy good contract. In the NBA, Kawhi was talked about in MVP talks, he will take the final step to being in the Elite categories not just for defence, but scoring, passing and leadership. But then there is that doubt, will he return even close to his best or will he even return at all? Has he peaked and from here on, we see his ratings skying down the slopes.

What players do I target?

I would want a star at least, add in a few pieces to make up a handy package.

Lebron James is the best player in the game, he is old though, like 50 something, he has to decline eventually.

Paul George would be great, he is in the last year of his contract and will most likely change teams giving him an F Loyalty. Better save up a few GMs.

Victor Oladipo is really breaking out this year, the sky’s the limit, is a combo guard who can lead your team or give you the scoring boost you need. At 25 and locked in for 4 years at a great price, adding a few pieces, this could be deal worth looking at.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Greek sensation has taken the league by storm, currently rated at the same level as Kawai, this could be a straight swap. Kawhi has better range and defence, could see this working for both teams.

Ben Simmons is looking a lock in for the Rookie of the year. He dominates every category and can even shoot better in 2k than in real life, the sky is the limit for this young player. Locked in for a bargain price for years and can play all 5 positons, he is unique in every way. You would also have to deal with all those Ausse drongos offering trades non stop to get him off you.

The guy I would target?

Georgios Papagiannis, if your lucky you might get a straight swap but I would even include a 1^st round pick as a kicker to get this top 10 player. Locked in for many bargain years on his rookie contract, I don’t think you could do any better than this NLL superstar.
