Where to go from here

Warriors fans...are you still out there?

It is a frustrating season so far ... very, very frustrating.

With this good looking starting 5 and this solid bench, we would have never expect such a bad season start.

The team is almost 100% healthy for the most time of the season.

Mailo tried to turn the course with some deals and it is getting little better since, but still ...

What happened in the deals?

The Jon Leuer to the Detroit Pistons. The Sacramento Kings send Pat Connaughton to the Golden State Warriors. The Utah Jazz send Vince Carter to the Golden State Warriors.

The Boston Celtics send Andre Iguodala and Daniel Theis to the Golden State Warriors. The Golden State Warriors send Al-Farouq Aminu, Lucas Nogueira and Paul Zipser to the Boston Celtics.

So we lost Leuer, Aminu, Nogueira and Zipser for Connaughton, Carter, Iguodala and Theis.

This deal transformed our bench and make it stronger.

With Connaughton (welcome back!!) and Theis we got to solid young players with potential.

Iguodala and Carter are 2 veterans, especially Iguodala could give our bench unit a huge push.

But another first round pick was moved, that is a high price.

So Theis, Hart, Connaugthon, Lauvergne and Iggy should better work out well for this team in the upcoming years.

Shabazz Muhammad is a good bench player so far, but Mailo saw a lot more in him as he traded a first round pick away to get him. Still some room to develop, but ...

The starter remain the same:

Smart, Batum, Saric, Barnes and Kaminsky.

Smart and Barnes are playing a great week, Barnes lives the move to the power forward position.

Saric struggles at small forward. So this is a question, should we keep them in this situation, or should they switch positions again?

Another huge question...should this team still try to win?

With no 1st, sure! Or should Mailo start to trade pieces for picks and transform the team.

Or should we try to get a star player for several pieces.

These are many, many questions and the next weeks will tell what direction this team is moving.
