After an upbeat off season and the additions of what were believed to be key peices to the roster in Aaron Gordon, Josh Jackson, Dennis Smith Jr, OG Anunoby and John Collins. Things seemed to be on track for a winning year highlighted by a 3-1 opening week

Confidence was high the team was eager to train the GM was keenly looking for an edge and possible trade's that may have helped in strengthening perceived weaknesses

five weeks later and everything had been turned on its head , the team struggled to even field a healthy rotation let alone a competitive unit.

With the team missing due to various injuries almost half his roster including four fifths of its week one starting team, it seems that in times of desperation come the bright spots and players we would otherwise never see get meaningful NLL minutes.

Bright Spots

over the injury riddled week six in which the clippers somehow managed to grind out three impressive wins against the Nuggets, Raptors and Suns with two players in particular standing up and were nothing short of spectacular

Clint Capela - 17.5 Points 16 rebounds 2.3 steals 1 assist has taken another step forward in his development and we look forward to seening Clint keep improving in future weeks and seasons.

Aaron Gordon - 29 Points 8 rebounds 2.8 steals 2.3 assists since a tendancy update Aaron has been outstanding taking on the role as primary scorer living up to his current standing as ESPN #36 if we can get his NLL ranking to match LAC will be in a good spot.

Josh Jackson – was a late inclusion as starting SG for the teams injured star Devin Booker and suffice it to say he didnt dissapoint at all with 18 points 5assists 2 rebounds while shooting 51% from the field

and last yet most certainly not least Nikola Mirotic in his first week for the club putting up a 6man of the year type performance in 23mins putting up 18points 5 rebounds 2 assists and 1 block per game making 23 of 51 three point attempts
