Wipeout
Our last article ended with "So let´s get up on this wave and ride it Warriors fans!".
So we thought Bay Area people can ride waves, but now we saw a very, very huge wipeout.
So we thought Bay Area people can ride waves, but now we saw a very, very huge wipeout.
The Warriors started great into the new season with a 3-1 record after the first four games.
Now we have a 6 game losing streak and a 3-7 record. So they fall from the top of the western conference to the 12th spot. It´s a free fall!
And we need to worry about Nicolas Batum again.
After his elbow injury he missed the first two weeks of the season.
Now he suffered a left elbow contusion on the same elbow, but he thinks it is not as bad as the last injury.
So we are still honing that he will be available next week.
So we are still honing that he will be available next week.
Lets have a look at the past games and upcoming.
In week two the team lost his games against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Miami Heat, the New York Knicks and the Oklahoma City Thunder. In this week´s games they already lost two of their four games against the Sacramento Kings and the Denver Nuggets.
Denver as the one we hoped will be a W, because they are the worst team of the western conference so far.
But nothing seems to work at the moment for Golden State.
We can´t clearly find a answer what is the real problem right now.
After a look at the Leagues stats the Warriors make the fewest points per game and are one of the worst rebounding teams. But all the other stats look close to the leagues average.
Maybe the rebounding thing is something a point to start...could the coach change the mindset of the team to grab more rebounds? We will see.
The Portland Trailblazers and the Memphis Grizzlies are the next opponents this week. Both teams are in the middle of the western conference with a little bit better record than the Warriors.
Stay positive Warriors fans and try to catch another wave ;)
