Week 2 Woohoo

Feelin Alright is the second single by Canadian group Len from their major-label debut album You Cant Stop the Bum Rush

Well apparently it is anyway, no one knows. But it is appropriately named, because in week two the pelicans were absolutely rolling by going 3 - 1 and feeling more than alright!

Alex "Chosen One" Len
Big time players make big time plays, and Lens game against Houston was something to behold.
37 points and 18 rebounds. A deposit for a statue to be built out the front of the stadium has been placed. Its still only week two though some people keep telling me, but obviously i wouldn't get ahead of myself.

George "The Thrill" Hill
After tossing an enormous contract at him during the off season you may think i would be expecting a smidgen more from the veteran (point) Shooting Guard. And you would be right.
Giving him an off ball role this year may have caused his numbers to dip, and maybe its my fault, but it isn't.
Currently averaging almost 12 points and 4 and half assists a game with a smattering of good defence. All i can say is watch this space.

Rookie Watch-
Ty Jacob Leaf
Brought in via trade in the off season, the rookie was immediately trusted with a starting role at power forward. Tenacious rebounder is how i would describe him early on, as he is almost averaging as many boards as points. But still plenty of room to grow, and maybe even a position change mid year, who really knows. As Dewey Finn said - I'm a teacher. All I need are minds for molding.

With the trade bans being lifted on newly signed players in the next few days, maybe there will be something different for me to write about next time instead of Len!

Go Pels
