Draft Day

With the 2017 NBA draft rapidly approaching, its all hands on deck with scouting the fresh talent. All possible portland recruiters are at the combines and working out all possible rookies.

Although Portlands first pick is not until pick twenty three, that hasn't stopped them working out all members of the draft. Clearly this shows The Blazers still have plans to somehow make their way up the draft by acquiring a higher pick. Clearly the other General Managers are holding their picks fairly close to their chests, so efforts may futile but i cant see that stopping the fresh faced Portland manager.

All reports coming from the Front Office are that the workouts are going quite well and that they have been impressed with some of the prospects they have seen. Reports also stated that if The Blazers attempts to acquire a higher draft pick fail, that there is still great prospects that could very likely be available when Portlands time comes on draft day. The front office clearly were not going to give away any details of who they have their eye on drafting when the time comes, but i couldn't help but sense a smugness coming across. Clearly they feel they have discovered something that no one else has, id hate to be the bearer of bad news, but i very much doubt that is the case.

For the sake of the people of Oregon I really do hope Portland have found some secret information that no one else has, because we all know the people of Oregon have been through enough dark times with this team and could surely use something to spark a little optimism and show them just a tiny bit of light at the end of the tunnel.
