Next step - Knicks yet again

Round one is over, Bucks  won over Bulls in 5 games.

There weren't many differences between top 4 seeds in the east, a basket here, a miss there, maybe a late turnover. But it proved essential. Bucks and Sixers had an easy job and beat Wizards and Bulls in 4 and 5 games. Cavs and Knicks have a much tougher series vs Celtics with KD, going to game 7 after an unbelievable finish in last game, and new look Nets (Nets hoping for their own miracle in game 6 latest today).

Bucks have a problem ofcourse, injuries. That's something that accompanies this team quite often. Bogut missed the postseason in Fear the deer year, when Bucks were the favorites to win it all. Westbrook got injured a couple of years later, when the team hoped for a surprising run till the end. This year, as Bucks are one of the favorites again, it's Zach and Nurkic. Nurkic tried plying through injury but missed the last game and is punished to the end of playoffs. Zach wowed to come back for the conference finals, but will have to sit them out of the team names it that far.

Lou Williams is the Zach-replacemnent. He started poorly and struggled with efficiency but got better as the year progressed and was really good against Bulls.
Replacing Nurkic might be a tougher job. There are several options and choosing the right one might be tricky. Bucks experimented with lineups vs Bulls, but it's hardly a good test vs Howard and Randolph.
Jakob Poeltl started in game 4. He did well, but the team struggled with him in that game. It is something that might be explored if other options fail.

Karl Anthony Towns seems the most logical replacement. Bucks can go small(ish) with different lineups, some combination of Young, Gordon, Giannis, Skal at forward spots. Take Dwight out from the paint, stretch the floor with shooters.

Giannis is another guy that could start at center. The match up with D12 could lean either way, Giannis might expose him with his speed and athleticism. Or could die trying due to lack of strength and size.

Young and Skal could both see minutes at center, maybe even as starters. Skal might be an interesting option and could stretch the floor and bother opponents enough to make that match up at least even.

Bucks  GM has his work cut out, find the 5th starter for game one. No idea yet who to put there. It will be a surprise for both Gms on Monday morning.
