Let's go!

After seeing their 16-game win-streak snapped by a terrible loss to the Magic in the regular season finale, the Knicks are headed into the playoffs with a 62-20 record. That is good for a tied third best in the league. Unfortunately the two better teams are sitting right ahead of them in the Eastern Conference.

Thus New York is headed into the playoffs as the third seed and will face the dauntig task of a fully healthy Brooklyn squad. But the Knicks figure to have a full squad available as well.

Iron man Paul Millsap, who missed more than one week of action for the first time in five years, has recovered from his knee injury and will return to the starting five, where he will face off against Kevin  Love.

Dwight Howard, James Harden and Kyrie Irving should be good to go as well, but with the team's top 13 players all still active in the NBA playoffs, who knows?

Luc Mbah a Moute and Joe Ingles will battle it out, who gets first crack at Derozan. A healthy Lance Stephenson likely shifts the balance in favor of the veteran aussie, since his playmaking ability will no longer be needed with the second unit. Lance is fully capable of running the show there and should be able to get Z-Bo decent looks.

Bob Portis has recently made a case for himself as a possible better complement to Randolph than Nêne, because of his outside shooting. But if Randolph's shots aren't falling we may even see a Nêne/Portis combo out there.

Knicks' management however will be following this years playoffs strictly from the sidelines, as the team's practice facility has not yet re-opened because of ongoing technical problems. Any necessary adjustements will have to be made on the fly.

"We're confident we can take this hurdle regardless," said dunadan. "Wiz has done an amazing job with the Nets this season, adding several all-star caliber players. They may have a bit more scoring up front than we do, but we do have the best back-court in the league."

"No offense to Dragic and Bledsoe, but Kyrie and James are the two best guards in the league not named Curry and will hopefully lead us into the second round."

With tip-off is only five days away, it is time for the mandatory Spike Lee picture:
