Portland "Average Joes" Trailblazer

With another win in portland it is hard to not get excited about a team causing so many upsets. It feels just right to quote Vince Vaughn in dodgeball to sum up our season so far. “I found that if you have a goal, that you might not reach it. But if you don't have one, then you are never disappointed… And I gotta tell ya, it feels phenomenal.” That piece of modern day poetry just seems right for the mantra of the trailblazers this season. As a blazers fan and writer i must say every win does feel “phenomenal”.

Once again, after the win Kosta Koufos was awarded the player of the game and his tally of this award appears to be racking up at an impressive clip. he finished the win over portland with 15 points, 17 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks. Konstantine Demetrios "Kosta" Koufos is now averaging 12.4 points, 12 rebounds and 1.7 blocks per game for the season and is turning in an impressive season thus far, and interest in acquiring this big man throughout the league is growing and justifiably so.

To go along with Koufos’ big game against Dallas, his fellow big man and Argentinian hero, Luis Scola also turned in an impressive game. He finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds and just out finessed the opposition big men throughout the entire game and along with Koufos is having an impressive season. This doesn't come as a surprise but the Argentinian community have been rallying on social media to get Scola into the all star game and his position in the All Star game may be justified.

Its fair to say The Blazers have been having a rollercoaster of a season and people have been dubbing them the “Legend Killers”, I'm definitely not going that far but they have been on the winning side of some upsets and its exciting times ahead for the Portland Trailblazers.
