Quick Hits – Jazz Offseason

Hello, Jazz fans around the globe!

Off-season is in full swing and pre-season games are soon coming to a TV near you so we can all overreact to a bunch of players, like we usually do!

Until then, we take a look at some of the Jazz players and what they have been up to in the form of quick hits!

Julius Randle – On August 29, Julius Randle had a laceration on his right hand, more precisely on his middle and ring finger, that required seven stitches to stop the bleeding. His timeline for recovery was two weeks and he has already started shooting again, so this won’t get in the way of his training camp schedule. Additionally, Randle has focused his offseason to improve his jumper, and, according to sources inside the organization, his progress has been very good in that area.

Willie Cauley-Stein – The coaching staff has come out and said that Willie is cemented as the starting Center going forward, and that the organization is fully behind him. Also the main focus in the off-season for Cauley-Stein has been making better decisions with the basketball as to when to be aggressive or not.

Bojan Bogdanovic – After a stellar performance in the Rio Olympics 2016 for the Serbian National team, Bojan comes to this season full of confidence. One bit of information out of Bogdanovic’s camp came out, stating that members of the coaching staff flew to Zagreb in the pre-Olympic period to check up on Bojan and assure his role and place on the team. Word on the street is this made the Serbian player very happy to see that the team cares enough about him to monitor his progress, and, most importantly, see him as a part of the puzzle on the future of this organization that has made the playoffs two season in a row.

That’s it for now, guys. Stay tuned for more Jazz inside news coming your way soon!
