Milwaukee Bucks - Power Ranking

Week Rank Rating Team Record Comment
20 6 86 Mil 8-3 Did GM Badwolf's pick greed jeopardize the defending champs' chances of repeating? Well, the Bucks did finish with the league's best record but the cast surrounding Giannis isn't the same. No more Spida, no more KAT. And for the champs to be sitting sixth in the season end's power rankings isn't what Bucks fans want to see. Perhaps no one will fall for Wolf's offers this time around. But maybe they should. Spida and KAT would look really good for the Bucks right about now.
19 5 88 Mil 8-3 The best team in the league continues to thrive in spite of the absence of SGA.
18 5 91 Mil 9-2 At 5 we have a team that has started to show some chinks in the armor. The defending champs still remain the team to beat, and the best team top to bottom, but in what looks to be a mid season slump similar to those of past champions or potential dynasty like teams, where in these late spring months are looking ahead to the playoffs. The Bucks have dropped a few games lately that would be considered easy gimme games, so nobody should be overly concerned, but their fans and front office should remain focused on the task at hand, which is always the toughest task for champions: repeating.
15 2 115 Mil 10-1 Bucks took a surprising loss to current 8 seed Boston, but Milwaukee still owns the league's best record by three games. They have three losses since the start of Week 6 back on March 3.
14 2 106 Mil 10-1 I’d say the Milwaukee is the favorite for the title to win back-to-back, and that is with the youngest team in the NLL. I did not think the Bucks would be as good as they are with all of the new rookies. The Giannis at center experiment has not only worked, but has took the league by storm. I cannot imagine the future of this team with how they look already.
13 1 118 Mil 11-1 How is an 11-1 team above a team that went 11-0 the past few weeks? Milwaukee is very good though I will not take away from the dominance they've had. They are the youngest team in the league while also being the best, how is that allowed? This team will be great for years to come.
12 1 110 Mil 11-1 It is crazy how this team has not slowed down after winning the championship last year. KAT and Mitchell were both traded, but ever since Giannis moved to the 5 they have been unstoppable. The Bucks Big 3 will be hard to stop, will the Gilgeous-Alexander injury keep them from going back-to-back.
11 1 111 Mil 11-0 Just one deal this season, and maybe this is the reason why the Bucks is the number one right now. Jarred Vanderbilt for a second round pick? Despite the improviment Bucks won’t lose much in this one.
10 2 90 Mil 9-1 Arguably the most stacked team in the league, and yet rookie Patrick Williams is the glue holding it all together. His numbers won’t jump out at you, but when you’re playing alongside LaVine, Trae and Giannis, they don’t really need to.
9 5 86 Mil 8-1 Milwaukee's numerous first-round rookies haven't been of much help despite many getting rotation minutes and it's holding the Bucks back now that they're down KAT and Donovan Mitchell. But Giannis is keeping the team on track for at least the ECF if not a repeat appearance in the Finals.
8 4 106 Mil 9-1 Giannis is doing Giannis things for the reigning champs. The offseason saw Badwolf unload a couple all-stars, in KAT and Donovan Mitchell, in favor of draft picks. The rookies have been inconsistent, and Nurkic, another offseason addition hasn’t played a game yet. But this team has Trae Young as their 6th man. They’re just fine, and they’ll only get better.
7 2 113 Mil 10-1 Milwaukee continues their dominance as Giannis is basically a cheat code. Besides him, they're a bit thin on big men as Nurkic is still out, but it doesn't seem to matter.
6 2 122 Mil 11-1 It is actually pretty insane how well this team is doing. The offseason moves were geared to give the team younger assets, yet they still sit as #2 in the power rankings. The oldest guy on the team is 27, and there is 6 19-20 year-olds. Giannis at center has put the league in chaos, and when Nurkic comes back from injury where will he go with the team working so well?
5 1 117 Mil 11-1 Now that Philly has lost a game, this ranking for MIL once again makes sense. In the Bucks 3 games in week 6 they have won by an average margin of 38 points. Giannis is absolutely balling on the league on all front. He's the best big man/slasher in every game he partakes in. The league will have a tough time dethroning MIL from this spot this year.
4 1 119 Mil 11-0 Milwaukee has been on a tear, and despite having injuries are still on top of the league's Power Rankings. Giannis playing center has put the league in a frenzy, but there hasn't been a way to stop him. The true test comes this week when they play the other last undefeated team. Giannis will have one of the best defensive big men guarding him, but Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is now back. The Bucks have only had issues with big men depth so far, but that has not slowed them down one bit.
3 1 112 Mil 10-0 Milwaukee and 10-0 and understandably they are the top the tree here as many experts expected, but were hoping the offseason moves would have potentially slowed a little. They haven't. Can you imagine this team with Donovan Mitchell in there, instead of Edwards? Edwards is looking like he'll be happy to shine Donovan's shoes one day and here's a team 10-0 with a literal God in Giannis, having given up Mitchell and still demolishing all comers. Why are they #1 over the other undefeated team? Maybe the extra game, maybe tougher opponents. Bottom line is, the Bucks are on the fast track to defending the title and we're yet to see where they might be stopped.
2 4 67 Mil 6-0 The Bucks are beating teams. By a lot. Their closest game thus far was the one they just played against the Nuggets. And that's primarily because they have seven players on the injured list, including Trae Young, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jusuf Nurkic. This will be a tough week for them to stay undefeated, particularly with a matchup with Brooklyn looming. But with their absurd depth of talent, it's not out of the realm of possibility that they end the week at 10-0.
1 5 36 Mil 3-0 If you want to watch competitive games, please don't turn on the Bucks game. They lead the league in point differential with almost a +50!!!! They also have one of the best players in the game in the Greek Freak.
