LA Clippers - Power Ranking

Week Rank Rating Team Record Comment
20 13 55 LAC 6-4 The Clips have had a few knocks this season and head into the postseason bruised and battered. Dipo isn't coming back. Jaylen Brown is gone. Kemba will only play for a bit. Most of all, longtime GM Andrew left town. Will new guy Felix have a solution to battle the injury bug? The Clips are deep to win. We just have to see if Felix has the commitment and the mettle to find the right combos.
19 14 57 LAC 7-4 Injuries to Oladipo and Jaylen Brown have tarnished what could’ve been a truly special season, and yet the Clips are still one of the most lethal teams in the league.
18 9 70 LAC 8-3 The Los Angeles Clippers are sliding. They have lost control of the one seed and are in jeopardy of losing home court advantage throughout the playoffs. That unfortunately is not the main issue in LA. This team has been battered by injuries and that is really starting to show in the late spring and they are struggling to find scoring from guys not named Jayson Tatum. With no Jaylen Brown or Victor Oladipo for the rest of the year, the Clippers lost two big time starters. They also lost Kemba Walker for a big stretch, but he’s back in the lineup now and that should give Tatum some much needed relief on the offensive end. But with JB and Dipo out, this team will really struggle with defense in the postseason, and though they have a significant lead on the Suns for a top 2 seed, With the way both of these teams have been playing, it’s not out of the question for the Clippers to fall to even the 3 seed before the playoffs begin.
15 6 73 LAC 8-2 The Clippers are a bit down thanks to injuries, but they still own the second-best record in the league.
14 10 58 LAC 6-3 Looks to not be much going on here with no GM still. I can’t believe nobody wants this juggernaut team! The injuries are hurting them, but long term they should be fine. Brown and Tatum along with the other great players should be enough talent to win a championship sometime. With a lot of extensions kicking in and Collins getting paid this offseason, they will need to focus on the cap situation.
13 7 72 LAC 7-3 The injuries have really hurt the Clippers with Brown, Oladipo, and Anunoby out. Oladipo and Brown are both out for the season too. This team could make it to the finals this year, but I wouldn't count on it with the injuries. Hopefully they can get a GM to stick with them too.
12 2 94 LAC 9-2 The Clippers have had a great year so far, but have had trouble hanging onto management recently. The team also has two of their top players out for the season and Oladipo possibly out next season. The team could make a run in the playoffs still, but it will be hard with the injuries.
11 2 104 LAC 10-1 Good deal: Kanter for a first. Kanter is a brutal monster.8 rebounds per game in only 17 minutes. A key player to dominate the paint off the bench for a late first round pick in a couple of years. Not so good deal: Aaron Gordon for Huerter deal- They gave up on Gordon after all these years. I know he is not so good in 2k but still a better player than Huerter.
10 4 89 LAC 9-1 With a roster as imbalanced as the Clippers (6 centers and 1 point guard) is amazing how good this team has been this season. A big reason why? Tatum is having an MVP caliber season (29/6/4)
9 2 101 LAC 9-1 LAC is on the best current winning streak in the NLL at 11 games. But how much of that is playing weak or unhealthy teams? The last loss taken by the Clippers (127-124 loss to OKC) is also the best (mostly healthy) team they've faced in the past month.
8 3 109 LAC 10-1 The Clippers recently changed ownership, a shock to many, but the team is continuing to obliterate their competition. Los Angeles is one of the few teams at the top of the league who are able to bring legit all-star level players off the bench, because they simply don’t have enough slots to start them all. Will the new GM make any changes?
7 3 106 LAC 10-2 The Clips are one of if not the deepest teams in the league, with 6 players averaging double figure points per game, 3 of them NBA Celtics. The x-factor for them is going to be Kemba Walker. He's struggled with coming back from injury, can he stay healthy for a playoff run?
6 4 102 LAC 10-2 LAC knocked off the hottest team in the league, the 76ers, this past week. This upcoming week will be a tough test though, having Capela, Gasol, and Anunoby out. The Clippers play OKC and Phoenix, which could be tough battles. LAC is currently on a 6 game win streak and keep it going despite the injuries.
5 4 88 LAC 9-2 The Clippers brought it home this week against the 76ers who were formerly unbeaten. Another notch in the teams belt alongside wins against Brooklyn and Dallas this season to boost their resume. Kemba walker is lighting it up wherever GM Andrew has him slotting in, be it from the bench or the starters role. This team is rolling!
4 2 99 LAC 9-2 OG Anunoby played in the 1st week with the team earning 4 wins, but he has been hurt ever since. The only reason this team has lost their 2 games is because of injuries, and Victor Oladipo has now been added to the injury report this week. Jayson Tatum has been tremendous ever since coming back from injury after Week 1. The Clippers will really be tested this week playing 3 playoff teams, and one of the hottest teams in the league.
3 2 106 LAC 10-1 The Clippers after a "down year" are back at the very top of the West again. They remain one of, if not the deepest team in the league (well, other than the Bucks of course) and other than having been beaten by their likely Western title rivals, the Thunder, they too have not put a single foot wrong yet. Can you believe they have 5 guys in the top 60 ESPN? 6 in the top 80, 8 in the top 100? And Kevin Huerter is basically a stones throw away too. They're all young too, it's a dynasty that was missing it's Giannis...but Tatum is rising.
2 1 77 LAC 7-1 The Clippers have been the beneficiaries of a relatively soft schedule thus far, minimal injuries, and a loaded team. Their biggest challenges to date came in back to back games against Brooklyn and Oklahoma City. They handled the Nets but faltered against the Thunder. Those two teams will face each other twice more this season and one can only assume they'll be meeting each other in the Western Conference Finals. As long as they stay healthy, the Clippers should be near the top of the power rankings throughout the season.
1 1 42 LAC 4-0 Right now, this is THE best team in the league. They have 7...yes, 7 players in the NLL top 100. They have Kemba killing teams off the bench, while being snubbed for early MVP watch. I called it in the previews that this was going to be a better team than people were giving credit... week 1 sorta showed I was right, so... told ya so....LOL
