Indiana Pacers - Power Ranking

Week Rank Rating Team Record Comment
20 9 77 Ind 9-3 Someone will say...you know what? That shit is getting old. The Pacers are looking strong this year with Luka coming into his own. The team may be lower in the top 10 but the Pacers could very well go deep in the playoffs, especially if they dispatch the heavily talented Nets early on.
19 11 69 Ind 8-4 The Pacers are 2nd in the league in 3pt shots made. Not surprising given that they play 5 out. Will be interesting to see how they fare if Ibaka misses any time during the playoffs.
18 11 63 Ind 7-4 The pacers are another team that have a lot of offense and are starting to get hot. The Luka Led bunch are riding a 4 game win streak, and CJ McCollum is providing much needed buckets opposite of Luka in the back court. The Pacers are trying to hold on the 5 seed, to avoid the edge of the bubble.
15 10 60 Ind 7-4 The Pacers had been sneaking up on the top teams in the conference. But losses to Toronto, Washington, the Clippers, and Detroit have halted the momentum they had from an 11-game win streak not too long ago.
14 5 86 Ind 9-3 Luka has been on another level this season, just a 3rd year player but already being in MVP talks. The passing along with scoring production is unreal, he has gone through lots of tough times too with injuries happening to his teammates quite often. He has been the reason the Pacers have had the success they have had, but I can not wait until the trio of Luka, McCollum, and Hayward have an extended period of time together.
13 2 108 Ind 11-0 Indiana is perhaps the hottest team in the NLL, going 11-0 the past 4 weeks while also having Gordon Hayward dealing with injuries. Luka has put his name into the MVP race with crazy weeks where he has averaged well over double digit apg. This team could make a splash with everyone healthy.
12 5 79 Ind 8-3 Luka is ranked 1 in the NLL, he has been amazing and has two great partners in McCollum and Hayward. The only problem has been getting all 3 healthy at the same time. The role players have been great too, Ibaka, Covington, and rookie Jalen Smith have been great sidekicks.
11 9 69 Ind 8-3 Good deal: CJ deal changed everything foi the Pacers. With Luka between the top players in the league, picks are not as valuable as before. Too much deal: RCov for a pick... yeah maybe it was too much, but fighting for a chance in the conference semi have a price to be paid.
10 17 42 Ind 6-5 Injuries have derailed the Pacers and now they expect Gordan Hayward to miss AT LEAST a month of action.
9 14 40 Ind 6-4 Indiana might be the most dangerous team to the contenders at the top of the East. When they're fully healthy (if that ever happens), they have the star power to face up against the best. Case in point, the Pacers' win over Philly last week. Health has held them down in the standings, but come playoff time, you could see this team in the ECF or even the Finals themselves.
8 19 24 Ind 4-5 The Pacers’ stars are drowning in injuries right now, we still don’t really know what this team is capable of when fully healthy. Luka, CJ, and Hayward, is a tremendous big 3, though, and they have a good amount of complementary players to put around their stars. This may be a team to watch for.
7 10 48 Ind 6-3 If any team outside of the top 6 has a punchers chance of making some noise, I'm giving it to Indy. McCollum has returned from a lengthy absence (though he's out this upcoming week), and when you have him and luka, you're gonna be good. Hayward, Ibaka, and RoCo are all doing well this year as well.
6 11 48 Ind 6-4 Luka!!! He has been great as of late, but the Pacers are going to be without him this week. We have still not seen this team at full power, so when McCollum comes back and everybody is healthy I truly think this team is a contender. This week will be tough without the star player, but Indiana does play 2 non-playoff teams. Gordon Hayward will be the star of the show this week.
5 8 57 Ind 7-4 Indiana has been making a slow creep up the standings and power rankings as the team has gotten healthy and began to mold. Gordon Hayward is playing out of his mind and Luka is doing Luka things. I fully expect this team to be slotted in the top half of the Eastern Conference down the stretch and receive home court advantage come playoffs. They might even challenge the top 3 in the East when fully healthy!
4 19 27 Ind 4-7 Indiana is missing CJ McCollum, although the started the season off well without him, he is a top player in the league, and could make this team a contender. New offseason acquisitions Serge Ibaka and Gordon Hayward have been great and been the 2nd and 3rd options on offense. Indiana will be a very balanced team once McCollum comes back, because they simply just need more scorer right now.
3 8 62 Ind 7-4 For a while there, everyone was saying INDIANA, but they have lost a couple since then. Doncic is the reason and Doncic is the way. Sheed made a bold call to move up a couple spots to take him at the expense of a future pick too and no one has even blinked an eyelid back to that deal since. They unfortunately suffered the loss of CJ McCollum for the long term, but hopefully back, which is definitely a slowing factor, but for now they are enjoying some mixed results and keeping on, keeping on to keep in the playoff hunt until that day he returns and maybe they all start screaming INDIANA again.
2 13 35 Ind 4-3 Fans in Indianapolis were losing their collective minds as their Pacers reeled off four straight wins to start the season, despite not having CJ McCollum in the lineup. But week 2 had a tougher slate of matchups, which resulted in three straight losses. Week 3 should be a bit lighter and Indy should come out of it with at least a couple wins. Luka has been downright dominant, averaging 32 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. As long as they've got Doncic, the Pacers should continue their winning ways.
1 3 40 Ind 4-0 Early fruits born from GM Sheed's offseason labors... Doncic finally has a supporting cast and is making the most of it. He's the best PG in the league. They did get the luck of the draw, playing week 1 opponents that were hit with the injury bug.
