Chicago Bulls - Power Ranking

Week Rank Rating Team Record Comment
20 17 36 Chi 5-7 The Bulls also finish middle of the pack, not a bad spot for a team still searching for an identity. GM Shams came in and flipped his roster and then flipped it again and then tried to flip it again. "No more trades," he cautioned towards the end. Yeah, right. We don't believe it. Hopefully the team stabilizes because was a great addition to the NLL. Pick a direction and try it out a bit.
19 20 16 Chi 3-8 Bulls will finish with the 4th worse record in the league. Good news is Steven Adams has said he’s going to try to implement a 3pt shot this off-season
18 23 7 Chi 3-8 The Bulls are a team who are really looking towards next year, with not much to look forward to as a team as 2021 closes out.
15 30 -30 Chi 0-12 The L's just keep coming for Chicago. Really putting in the work for those lottery odds.
14 30 -19 Chi 1-11 This is no surprise, the Bulls have not been good lately with the injuries to Adams and Lonzo. They are now back and newly acquired Mo Bamba is healthy too, could things change in the coming weeks?
13 29 -6 Chi 2-9 Chicago is not good right now, with all of the injuries going on, at least they have a lot of picks and a good young core. The recent trade with the Blazers is more for the future of the team. The draft will be big with the lottery deciding if they will get a star or not.
12 27 7 Chi 3-7 Chicago brought in Lonzo Ball recently, but he is currently hurt. This team has loads of injuries right now and it is unlikely they will move much in the standings with these. The team is rebuilding so it's just fine to sit at the bottom of the standings.
11 26 -2 Chi 2-7 Al Holford deal: FINALLY!! BYE! I DON'T WANT YOU ANYMORE AL HOLFORD!
10 23 11 Chi 3-6 Swapping Al Horford’s bad contract for Steven Adams worse contract is certainly a move. But the Bulls have done a great job alleviating themselves of big contracts and even though the team isn’t very good now, they now have a bit of flexibility to get to where they want to be.
9 25 2 Chi 2-8 Al Horford may be done for the year, but he's still on the trade block in our hearts.
8 23 9 Chi 3-8 Shams’ Bulls are hovering just above the bottom tier of NLL teams. Chicago has a developing young core, headlined by PJ Washington and Isaac Okoro. Paired with some good vets who have had their fair share of injuries, in D’Lo, Big Al, and Barton. Chicago’s rigjt about where you’d expect right now, but the future is startong to take shape.
7 24 10 Chi 3-8 Big Al still in Chicago, big shocker there. The storyline there is gonna be what they do with Russell when he comes back, and if they can find a buyer. Theyl'l also be heavily invested in San Antonio's fate.
6 20 23 Chi 4-6 Ahh, Chicago. Big Al's fortress. Chicago has a quick flip on the injuries now, only having Russell injured (not including two ways). PJ Dozier is back, and so is Big Al after having a week of vacation to rest. The Bulls were not really expected to be good. We get to finally see Washington and Horford play alongside each other too, going to be interesting what happens with the Bulls the rest of the season.
5 18 28 Chi 4-5 Chicago has as well had a rough go of injuries. Man just in writing this you realize how bad injuries trouble's have been across the league. Initially CHI was without only Dlo after he had just started getting going on the season. In recent weeks GM Shams has seen both Al the perpetually shopped big man, and PJ Washington missing time for injuries. We do have some intel that paints Chicago as a rebuilding team who doesn't have much worry about the end of season placement. The goal is to build for the future and GM Shams is doing a fine job of that right now!
4 20 26 Chi 4-6 The Bulls are out D'Angelo Russell for now, but with Will Barton coming in the team is still competitive. Okoro has his best week yet, and the most popular name on the trade block, Al Horford, played very well this past week. Chicago is down 4 of their top 6 players this week though, and play 2 bottom teams in the league. They are down more players than last week though, and the games could end up being close.
3 24 12 Chi 3-8 Have you heard? Al Jefferson is on the block! He's coming out of retirement and putting his name on the block for the Bulls, every day it seems. Oh, and Al Horford is too. Likely to draw much more interest. The Bulls have been active as can be this year so far and have already made some moves dumping Buddy Hield out for multiple assets which is a boon despite losing the scoring prowess. DLo has been offered up multiple times but is still here, but is now out for a number of weeks which probably hampers his value too...much to Shams' dismay. The Bulls are clinging but the new GM is switched on big time and won't be too bothered by a bottom finish with his own pick to add to the already blossoming young talent they drafted last year.
2 24 5 Chi 2-6 If the power rankings were based on the number of injuries, Chicago would undoubtedly be top contender. In week one, they had six guys out. In week two, just three. Fortunately, they've corrected things for week three and are now back to six guys out. So they're back on track. But as for wins? Well, they dropped their first game of the week against the Cavs but they do have a potential win against the Grizzlies coming up. And maybe even one against the Hawks? Well, even if the wins don't come, they'll always have the Injury Power Rankings to hang their hat on.
1 28 -8 Chi 0-4 Chicago has talent, but it seems like GM Shams is more interested in a full overhaul of the roster. DLo, Al, Hield and PJ are all on the trade block consistently, so it's no surprise that the chemistry isn't quite there in Chi-town.
