Power Ranking - New Year's resolutions

Jan, 03 (Week 8) - We take a look at every team's New Year's resolutions and how it could affect them. Just like the nearest gym, we expect everyone to go hot and heavy over the next few weeks, only to settle back into their old routine and skip the gym to binge watch Mr. Robot. [pennywise ]

Find a better starting SF. Sure Fournier is finally back and healthy, but he’s currently happy as the 6th man. There really isn’t someone on IR that could fill that need and Dekker is atrocious. Maybe Minny should start Fournier and find a wing 6th man?

Better bench play. Find a way to get all his best players on the court together. Part 1 is hard, since they have a decent bench, but they aren’t playing well. Part 2 is easy, as we expect a healthy Celtics lineup to look like this: Bradley, Reke, KD, Melo, Favors… not a bad starting five at all.

Keep CP3 healthy and get better overall play from Wiggins. If Chris Paul stays healthy, he is the engine that turns this team into a well oiled machine. Yes, the team has enough contributors that Wiggs can take nights off, but you want to see you budding star play more like a superstar if you want to make playoff waves.

Unlock Horford, stay healthy, be more consistent. The Suns started off so poorly that even after a solid few weeks, they are still on the outside looking in for the playoff race. Most Suns fans are happy to say, “wait until next year” and everything else this season is gravy, but GM Pennywise doesn’t seem to be happy with anything less than a playoff spot. prepare for weeks without James, find a way for James and Kyrie to coexist AND win. Harden is expected to be out for 2-3 weeks with a hammy injury and hammies are always delicate, so losing more time is possible too. Dunadin has had a hard time getting the most out of Kyrie with Harden on the court, so he has gone to drastic measures with only minimal gains.

This has always been part of Andrew’s big plan, but now he’s finally getting to see it start to come to fruition. Oladipo now is better than Hood and Jackson, but maybe he gave up too soon on JJ?
