Don’t stress about final standing: Of all the top tier teams the C's look as good as any on the road. 12-4 traveling as opposed to 9-5 at home, getting to a top 4 finish should put them in prime position to make a real run.

Keep experimenting with lineups: The Bucks look set for a deep push, they have been tinkering so far this season and continue to win, getting as much knowledge of their own team will help them come playoff time when the heat is really on.

Don’t rush into anything: New GM's generally come in with an itchy trigger finger and veteran GM's are happy to oblige. With Spudspaces premature departure, new GM Joshua has a chance with a super talented team. The team is rolling right now and should continue as long as the rookie GM's doesn't make too many mistakes.

Protect the Paint: Chicago have tagged themselves as 'splash city' and the moniker fits, the other end is an issue though, they have the league worst PIP against and need to find a way to stop teams pounding them inside, it could come from inside the organisation or maybe a trade is in order to find that help.

Keep Chris Paul healthy: A slow start without Paul (2-6) had Salt Lake fans concerned, 14-8 since his return has them in raptures. The team will live and die by the play of their general. Keep him out there, make the playoffs, simple equation.

Stick to the formula: The Knicks have had the same core for a while now and it has been consistently solid. The Finals last year stung but there were 28 other teams wishing they made it. At this point they need to keep it together and hope the luck is there this time around.

Find LeBron's best spot depending on opponent: LeBron started the season at PG, has played SF and SG as well. The Cavs are another of the elite East teams that are virtually a lock (Baring a devastating injury) to make the playoffs. James will define how far you go and finding where he plays best against the likely playoff opponents in the reg season will play dividends later.

Continue developing the young guys: Memphis remain deep in the race for a playoff spot, while it would be a boon for the city, making at the expense of the development of their young guys is a mistake. The Grizz are getting a nice group of players and will be a threat in the coming years should one or 2 of their guys make that big leap to elite status.

Cut the turnovers down: Davis and Embiid make the team go and are keeping them competitive, but turnovers (League worst rate) are making it difficult for the big guys to be effective on both ends. Mike Conley's return should help.

Keep that Pacers pick no matter what: Another young team that is sitting in a playoff spot right now. The temptation is o oget more talent now and make a push. Finding a piece that pushes them into the Boston, Cleveland, Milwaukee range is near impossible. That Pacers pick will be gold the way things are shaking out.

Get to the line more: Toronto currently have the 2nd worst FTA in the NLL. While the Refs have been told to put the whistles away free points at the line are more valuable that ever and the Raptors will want to find a way to get there more regularly.

Improve on the road: Orlando are one of the bigger surprises of the season, currently they are great at home (14-2), problem is they are very average on the road (6-8). If they can be more consistent out of Florida then they could do what was considered impossible and finish top 4.

Keep a level head: The NLL has been a salt mine of frustration this season, Sliders, Injuries and bad luck have been blamed. For the Clippers it was though this was going to be the season for them to make the jump. Injuries have started to derail that. Andrew needs to keep plugging holes until the tide turns, no rash decisions on deals, from there the Clipps can make that run.

Just survive the 6-8 weeks without Vuc: Losing your best player always makes time in the NLL difficult, the Lakers just lost their best guy for the better part of 2 months. They will be happy to come out of the next 6 - 8 weeks with a .500 record, as long as they don't go on a major slide once Vuc is back it will be business as usual.

Balance the team: It seems like it might be time for the Warriors to finally make the call and move one of the 4 starting level SF's for a SG. For years GSW has had a glut of SF's and right now it is not working. Balancing that team should lead to some better results and while the playoffs look impossible stranger things have happened. Need to do it before it is too late.

Stop underachieving: Brooklyn has been a surprise in the opposite way to Orlando. At the stats of the season if you had the Nets in the 4 spot at this point no one would have batted an eye lid. They have been possibly the biggest under performer this season. Yes injuries have played their part and we know Wiz puts in the work to be the best possible. Might be time to think outside the box.

Remember the Boban: Years after he retires, if anyone looks back at Boban's career stats they will see the 17-18 season and say what happened there. It is up to the Kings to keep the memory alive of this time when Boban was great.

Keep holding on: The Rockets have had their own injury woes, they need to keep hanging in there until they can get their 3 best guys out there together. If they are in striking distance of a playoff spot when Thomas, Whiteside and Hardaway are back we could see a repeat of last seasons run.

Commit to blowing it up: Len is gone and it looks like the Pels are starting to collect picks. They need to commit to it all in and start fresh. They have their own pick and adding another 1 or 2 will set them on the path to improve sooner than later.

Trade for fit: Denver is another super talented team on paper that isn't clicking. Every GM in the league likes to think they win a deal and unfortunately perceptions are everything in the NLL. The Nuggets might need to take one or two on the chin in the court of public opinion but getting some role players in to change it up might not be the worst idea.

Sell high: Rudy Gay continues to be a 2k superstar, that is likely to be untrue by the time the Blazers are ready to really compete. Time to sell as high as possible, be assertive and find that deal that will help the Blazers rebuild take the next step.

No more half time hot dogs: Nerlens Noel is one of those guys that GM's still look at and see the P word. Not for long though. Dallas have just bought in 2 more Centers and now is the time to get Noel out there and raise his value.

Keep close: Philly is a very scary prospect if they get healthy and sneak into the playoffs. You think Boston, Cleveland or Milwaukee want to face them in the 1st round? Me either. But the battle is staying close enough to strike when guys get back. VT is getting frustrated and some making a deal is not beyond him but realistically the talent is there, its just all on the IR.

Stay the course: Laddas likes a deal, we all know that. He told us all that the Pistons would not be as good as opinion around the league stated. He looks like he was right. Keeping the youth they have and developing Simmons is the best bet. Don't expect to see any silly make the playoffs this season trades at this point.
