The votes are in and final, and here we announce the Players of the Week
and Rookies of the Week for Week 11!
East
POTW – Greg Monroe
25 points and 14.8 rebounds a game, that was Greg Monroe this week.
Amazingly he did 25/19 last week, but shot it 42%...this week 59%, 2 steals a
game and 0.5 turnovers and that’s the difference between even being nominated!
He’s got a bit of an uncertain future right now, but you could argue it’s about
to get a lot better with a C loyalty on the way. Good news Hawks fans!
West POTW
– Paul George
To be honest, it’s more of the same from PG this week as he’s been super
consistent through the season. 27.5 points was a season high though and 4
rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.3 steals and only 0.8 turnovers a game. He topped 30
twice and the Thunder went 3-1. He’s been the missing piece for the Thunder who
are cruising out on top of the West.
West
ROTW – Dakari Johnson
He’s about to take a hit in Boston if he gets on the court, but you can’t
argue with 18.5 points, 14.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.3 steals from your
rookie C…on 52% shooting. That’s stellar and the kid was balling for the
Pelicans in the Alex Len role. What does the future hold now though out East?
East
ROTW – Bam Adebayo
Bam
has been great for Detroit. 13.3 points, 15.5 rebounds and 2.3 steals on 73%
shooting this week has claimed him the award in the Ben Simmons off week and
those numbers are more than Laddas could have hoped for trading away Jusuf
Nurkic. The future is bright in Detroit!
Congratulations to the
winners in Week 11 and may the odds be forever in your favour!
