are in and final, and here we announce the 2016/17 6th Man of the
Year!
So without
further ado, congratulations Mareese Speights!
The Lakers
made bringing back Mareese a key point last season, and others may have
wondered why, but here we are after a stellar season by the role playing big
man! He played all 82 games, starting 20 of them and averaged 17 points and 7
rebounds in only 24 minutes a game! He stretched the floor and did just as his
nickname states, got buckets. Mo Buckets fired up 14 shots a game, at 46%
including 45% from deep, and sparked the Lakers on more than one occasion. He’s
likely due for a bit of a pay rise this summer but as a Greenmig favourite, you
can imagine he’ll be back in the purple and gold.
