NLL Insider - Sit down with LBJ

by KLEMMELO, updated on Tuesday, May 23 2017, 01:06 pm EST

Lebron James sat down with the media for a post game interview following the disappointing two point loss on their home floor in game four.

Media: “Hey Bron thanks for sitting down with us… What happened today out there? What didn’t you guys do?”

LBJ: “Ahhh we just didn’t play 48 minutes of basketball man thats it… We outscored them 3 of the 4 Quarters but just lost focus in the second and let them go on a 22-10 run to finish the half. We just can’t allow that to happen if we are expecting to try and dig ourselves out of this hole.”

Media: “Dame had another big game of course scoring 31 points and dropping 9 assists but it was CJ off the bench that really hurt you along with their bench shooting a combined 11/13 from the field. What did they do that allowed their guards to really take over?”

LBJ: “The Sixers backcourt is elite and not enough attention is given to them through out the year with what they’ve been able to do. Their ability to play CJ off the bench and bring in a vet like Redick with his shooting is crazy. I think we defended Dame well, Harrison did a hell of a job with his athleticism and length but it was their bench that killed us man they just stepped up big time. They really shot the three really well and essentially that was the difference because otherwise its such a tight match up every night against these guys... It comes down to the slightest of advantages and we just didn’t capitalise"

Media: “So you guys are faced with the daunting task of being down 3-1 headed back to Philly… What adjustments need to be made and what do you need to do individually to win this series?”

LBJ: “One game at a time…. Thats it. Just one game at a time. I want to bring this back home and play for our fans so that means we need to win the next game regardless. Thats the mind set I’m in. Sure i played OK in game four but i need to be better because my guys rely on me to be better. We don’t need to change much, we just need to contest shots, get stops and score in the paint. It’s fundamental basketball man it’s not hard. We just need to go out and play… Thanks guys”

Game 5 will start May 23rd at 5pm. Will the Sixers close out the Cavs at home without their star Leonard while he sits on the side lines? Or do the Cavs rally behind Lebron and mount an all time come back? Stay tuned...
