The votes are in and final, and here we announce the Players of the Week
and Rookies of the Week for Week 16!
East
POTW – Lebron James
Lebron has had 2 weeks this year where he topped 28 points per game, week
4 and week 16, and he’s taken the Player of the Week award in both these weeks,
his only 2 awards of the year. He’s been a picture of consistency all year but
these weeks he stood out for his efficiency. 28.5 points, 8.8 rebounds, 6.8
assists and 0.8 steals on 57% shooting, 58% from deep and 81% from the line.
All while committing only 1 turnover a game. He hasn’t been needed to solely
carry the Cavs this year, but he’ll be heavily relied upon down the stretch.

West POTW
– Paul George
Week 16 saw PG13 continue his hot run with his 2nd 40 point
game of the season and his 2nd highest scoring week of the season
which earned him 60% of the 1st place votes to take the award ahead
of Draymond Green. The Wolves were rolling and PG averaged 28.4 points, 8
rebounds, 3 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.6 blocks on a sizzling 57% shooting, 67%
from deep and 94% from the line! Insane week for the George man.

West
ROTW – Dario Saric
He’s been nominated a lot this year but it has taken his best week of the
season to finally claim the award he’s coveted and Dario Saric edged out Ivaka
Zubac on preference voting to do it! He put up 14 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5
assists and 0.5 steals on 54% shooting and in doing so, earned himself the
starting nod next week for the first time this season. Saric has been a
mainstay on the Warriors bench and has had a strong year helping carry them
into a playoff spot. Congratulations Dario Saric on ROTW for Week 16!
East
ROTW – Brandon Ingram
Brandon
Ingram has been here 6 times before and he’s here again with a sizzling swiss
army knife stat line week. He dropped 22 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1
steal and 1.3 blocks on 45% shooting and he’s looking primed to help carry this
team into a hopeful playoff run. Congratulations Brandom Ingram on 7x ROTW!
